About Greg Eippert, M.D.

Dr. Greg Eippert is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, the founder of LASIK Vision Centers of Cleveland, and a member of OPI - Ophthalmic Physicians Incorporated surgical team. He is an experienced and respected LASIK eye surgeon, as well as a cataract surgeon, in the Cleveland area. Dr. Eippert has worked tirelessly to create a team of specialists that work together to provide the highest quality care to each one of his LASIK eye surgery patients at LVC Cleveland. In addition, Dr. Eippert has been nationally recognized in the Best Doctors in America as well as a "Top Doc" for Ophthalmology in Cleveland Magazine many times as recently as 2023. He was named the Best LASIK Eye Surgeon in Akron for 2023 by Vision Center.

Professional Experience

Since the start of his career in 1997, Dr. Eippert has performed thousands of LASIK, Cataract and Glaucoma surgeries. He is the first physician owner of a custom femtosecond laser for the cataract surgery in the Cleveland area. Dr. Eippert possesses extensive and up-to-date experience with the latest technology. He strives to continue providing the ability to fine-tune all of his numerous surgeries in a blade-free fashion, including bladeless LASIK surgeries, increasing both accuracy and precision for his patients.

Educational Experience

Dr. Eippert graduated Magna cum Laude from Kent State University in 1988 and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Summa Health System and later went on to further his surgical experience by completing a glaucoma fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Dr. Eippert is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of many local and national Ophthalmology organizations. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities with his family including golfing, skiing and boating.
